The DAC, Aerospace Technology District of Campania, established in 2012 with the precise aim of stimulating collaboration between Research Centres, Universities and Companies in Campania in order to create concrete business opportunities and continuous opportunities for growth and innovation, the DAC has gained a leading role at national and international level.

DAC includes big companies, 19 Research Centres and Universities (including CIRA, CNR, ENEA, FORMIT Foundation and the 5 Campania Universities with engineering courses) and 150 SMEs.

The Technological Aerospace Innovation Factory for research activities in microgravity conditions Among the big firms present in Campania there are Leonardo – Alenia – Magnachi Aeronautica – Atitech – Dema, Telespazio, Ala (Advanced Logistic for Aerospace) – Telespazio, a joint venture resulting from the union of two major European partners: Leonardo (67%) and I.D.I.S. Ingegneria dei Sistemi.
